Lenidel C. Caballegan
Junior Associate
Leni is a Junior Associate at Du-Baladad and Associates (BDB Law). She specializes in taxation, litigation, and general corporate law.
Before joining BDB Law, Leni worked as a Senior Tax Associate at Sycip Gorres Velayo Co. (SGV). During her tenure at SGV, she was the team lead in most of her audit engagements. She assisted clients with field audits as well as in settlement negotiations.
At BDB Law, Leni specializes in tax assessments, tax advisory, and tax compliance reviews. Also, she manages requests for rulings, applications for tax treaty relief, registrations for digital service providers, and claims for refunds with administrative bodies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Local Government Units. Lastly, she represents clients in the Court of Tax Appeals and regular courts on tax-related cases.
Leni earned her Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting from the University of San Carlos – Main Campus in 2014. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the East – Manila Campus and was admitted to the bar in 2022.
In her free time, Leni enjoys reading books, gardening, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
