Junior Tax Specialist
Rio is a Junior Tax Accountant (Tax Specialist) at Du-Baladad and Associates (BDB Law). In her role, Rio is responsible for conducting tax compliance reviews to ensure adherence to the latest Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) laws and regulations. She assists clients in preparing accurate tax returns and provides support to lawyers on various engagements.
Before joining BDB Law, she gained experience as a Junior Auditor at AMC & Associates, where she was involved in external audits as well as a Tax Associate at Reyes Tacandong & Co., where she was involved in tax return and report preparation.
Rio earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Dr. Gloria D. Lacson Foundation Colleges, Inc. – San Leonardo in 2019 and Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology from PHINMA Araullo University in 2017. She is currently taking her Master in Business Administration degree in College of the Immaculate Conception.
In her free time, Rio enjoys reading books, playing chess online, learning foreign languages, and tutoring college students through an online platform.
