Junior Associate
Risa is a CPA-Lawyer and Junior Associate at Du-Baladad and Associates (BDB Law). Prior to joining the firm, she gained valuable experience in the Accounting Department of a government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC).
At BDB Law, she provides a wide range of services including handling tax assessment, tax dispute resolution, protests, refund claims, and tax litigation. She also delivers consultancy and advisory services, assists with corporate matters, and handles requests for BIR rulings and tax treaty applications. She likewise represents clients before the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA), and other courts.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Gordon College, Olongapo City and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santo Tomas in 2025. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2026.
