The ICD inducted its 2025 officers, with Executive Director Ms. Catherine Jalandoni hosting the event. Newly elected Chairwoman Atty. Benedicta Du-Baladad, Founding Partner and CEO of BDB Law, shared her vision for ICD’s future, focusing on digital innovations to enhance member engagement and new learning platforms, including cross-border collaborations. ICD also aims to support a wider community, promoting governance excellence in sectors like health, education, and MSMEs. Atty. Dick also unveiled a five-year initiative to champion corporate governance to help deepen the capital market. She called on members to unite in advancing ICD’s mission of stewardship and inclusivity.

Keynote speaker Romeo L. Bernardo, Monetary Board Member of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, provided insights on the Philippine economy, noting progress in inflation management and growth prospects. He highlighted the vital role of corporate governance in building resilience amid global uncertainties.

The event concluded with a Q&A session featuring Mr. Bernardo and Senen L. Matoto, ICD President, capping off the day that set a clear direction for ICD’s future.
